Some 260 inventors from 20 countries were competing in the event.
The Iranian team of inventors, composed of Mamoudreza Gorgi, Marjan Haji Rahimi and Salar Basiri, had invented a system for protecting historical objects and making museums smarter.
Their invention had already won the gold medal in another event in Switzerland.
